Indian Monsoon Malabar

(1 customer review)

Monsoon Malabar’s unique process of exposure was discovered by chance back in the 16th century, as spice ships transported the beans back across the seas to Europe. Stored deep within the hold, the damp, humid conditions caused the beans to swell, neutralising any acidity and producing a deep, heavy sweetness – an immediate hit with Europeans.

SKU: IMM-1 Category:

With light acidity this coffee is fruity, with delicate herb notes and a rather full body.

Wow, I just had it today and it is a bean out of this world! I’ve never tasted anything else like it and I’ve tried a lot of speciality beans. They treat it like the processing of a wine aged whiskey and the characteristics are like nothing else in the world. Perfect for a latte! I had to watch lots of videos about it’s mythical story because it tastes so good!
